This year marks the 40th anniversary of the San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration and the 10th anniversary of the Women's Stage and NectArena is committed to making the women’s stage a "spectacular must see event."

As we honor S.F. Pride’s tremendous milestone, we are reminded that merely a decade ago the Women’s Stage made its debut, forever changing the festivities by establishing a dedicated place for women at the celebration. But NectArena is not just a musical/performance stage; it is a message to the world that women need venues to contribute to the diverse landscape of our community. The producers, volunteers and performers participate because they believe that the San Francisco-Bay Area must bring its female community the representation they so richly deserve.
