ABOUT US

The NectArena Women's Stage Returns for 2010!

In 2009, the NectArena Women's Stage went on a one year hiatus to prepare for the 40th anniversary of the SFLGBT Pride Celebration and 10th annivesary of the Women's Stage. In order to ensure the women's community still had a dedicated space at the Pride festivities, NectArena teamed up with San Francisco Pride and Christine De La Rosa to present the Women’s Dance and Performance Pavilion (WDPP). The WDPP was a one time production specifically put together for 2009 in the absence of a full NectArena Women's Stage production. NectArena would like to say a special thank you the WDPP Committee for their effort and energy put forth to hold the space for our community. The WDPP Committee members included Lisa Williams, Christine De La Rosa, Olga Texidor, Kentucky Fried Woman and Amy Adams.
