In 2009, the NectArena Women's Stage went on a one year hiatus to prepare for the 40th anniversary of the SFLGBT Pride Celebration. In order to ensure the women's community still had a dedicated space at the Pride festivities, NectArena teamed up with San Francisco Pride and Christine De La Rosa to present the Women’s Dance and Performance Pavilion (WDPP). The WDPP was a one time production exclusively pulled together for 2009 in the absence of the NectArena Women's Stage. NectArena would like to say a special thank you the WDPP Committee for their effort and energy put forth to hold the space for our community. The WDPP Committee members included Lisa Williams (Venue Manager), Christine De La Rosa "Miz Chris" (Stage Manager), Olga Texidor "Dj Olga T" (Sound Coordinator), Kentucky Fried Woman (Performance Coordinator) and Amy Adams "Mz Amy" (Volunteer Coordinator). We would also like to say a big thank you to the entertainers who donated their talent and time to the WDPP production.
