This year marks the 40th anniversary of the San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration and NectArena is committed to making the women’s stage a "spectacular must see event."
As we honor S.F. Pride’s tremendous milestone, we are reminded that less than a decade ago the Women’s Stage made its debut, forever changing the festivities and establishing a dedicated place for women at the celebration. But NectArena is not just a musical/performance stage; it is a message to the world that women need venues to contribute to the diverse landscape of our community. The producers, volunteers and performers participate because they believe that the San Francisco-Bay Area must bring its female community the representation they so richly deserve.
